Tools
Clean water; kitchen paper. Also, suitable alternatives are ethanol and toilet paper.
Cleaning Procedure
Please follow the steps below to clean a window:
Check the condition of the window. It should be optically clean and transparent. If the window is unclear and opaque, please go ahead and proceed to step 2.
Apply clean water to a piece of kitchen paper and softly wipe over the entire window. If hard-dried dirt is on the window, let it soak with water for about a minute. Continue wiping until the window feels smooth during wiping.
If clean water is not enough, you can use ethanol or let the window soak for a longer time.
Dry the window with a piece of dry kitchen paper.
Check the condition of the window again. If the window still appears dirty, repeat this procedure.
Storage
Store the sensor in the same box (20 x 15 x 15 cm) with cushioning and tape it shut, just like the way it was sent. The ideal storage temperature is approximately room temperature with low humidity. It is not recommended to store the sensor in temperatures below -25 degrees Celsius or above 75 degrees Celsius. Avoid storing in places where accidental mechanical damage to the window or full enclosure is likely. Also, it is not advisable to store in highly corrosive environments.
