The events view provides an overview if the events list and can guide you into event details, that enables you to explore events and drill down for more information on a specific event, including, an indication of its potential source, Pollution Index graph, time events found, contaminations detected, event score, and demonstrate the route.
Events List
Top Filter
Use filters to define what types of events the system should look for in your network.
Click Add filter item to refine the Events List based on specific event characteristics, including:
Status
Discharge Time
Time
Severity
Sampling
Interest Point
Area
Sector
Once selected, click Apply to update the Events List based on your chosen criteria. You can save frequently used filter combinations for quick access using presets.
Left Panel of Event List
Displays a list of events that match the selected filters.
You can arrange the Events List using the Arrange by control, with the following options:
Observed Upstream: Groups and orders events based on upstream detection, helping identify related events along the same route
Severity: Sorts events from highest to lowest severity
Newest First: Displays the most recently created events first
Oldest First: Displays the earliest detected events first
By default, events are arranged by Observed Upstream.
Event Card
Hovering over an event will allow you to click on it and go to its event details, which shows its propagation path on the map.
Map
The map displays all sites associated with events that match the selected filters.
The number shown on the event card in the Events List indicates how many events that site was involved in, based on the current filter selection. When hovering over an event in the left panel, the event propagation path is displayed on the map from its source to its downstream destination.
Event Details
Event details screen is displayed when clicking on one of the events in the left panel.
Left Panel
This panel provides all relevant information needed to understand the event and take action.
Timelines
View the event timeline, including:
First Seen: The first upstream site where the event was detected, along with the detection time
Last Seen: The last downstream site where the event was detected, along with the detection time
ETA to WWTP: The estimated time the event is expected to reach the wastewater treatment plant
Discharge Time: The estimated duration of the discharge
Event Score
The Event Score provides an overall indication of the event’s severity, helping prioritize response and investigation.
Contaminants
Indicates the probability of the event containing specific contaminant types, such as organic contaminants.
Displays the suspected pollution categories associated with the event, based on observed data patterns, such as FOG, COD, high pH, or nutrients.
Source
Source
The Source section highlights the suspected origin of the event. It displays the site name and type, along with key discharge information such as estimated water discharge. For more information you can click on the More Information button to open the full site profile and explore additional details about the source location.
Option to View Multiple Events and PI Graphs (Observed Upstream Filter)
When multiple related events are detected, clicking on an event in the Events List opens the Event Details view with additional analysis options.
From this view, you can:
Select individual events to review their Pollution Index (PI) graph
Open PI graphs for multiple related events
View multiple PI graphs side by side on the same screen, allowing direct comparison between events
This makes it easier to compare timing, severity, and patterns across related events and better understand how pollution propagates through the network.
